Stacking & wrapping: IMA developed a revolutionary way to pack Feminine Care and Light Incontinence products, by leveraging the product itself as a template for wrapping, rather than relying on a conventional bagger. The result is a cost-effective solution, enabling up to 75% savings on packaging material. And yes, it is sustainable too!

Stacking & bagging: the most traditional solution to pack baby diapers, adult briefs and absorbent mats in convenient, tightly sealed bags. Both in polyethylene or paper, our machines can process any type of material ensuring the same performance.

Flow-wrapping: ideal for stacked wet wipes, and multipack configurations, IMA’s HFFS horizontal flow-wrapping solutions ensure airtight sealing, precise product handling, reclosable features and full compatibility with recyclable and eco-friendly films. Lidding: to enhance freshness and extend shelf life, rigid “click” lids are applied on top of peel-and-seal wet wipe packs. IMA’s high-speed lidding solutions reach up to 150 packs per minute with precision placement thanks to advanced robotics and dual pick-and-place units.

Bundling: IMA offers a sustainable handle application solution that uses a single 38 mm strip to group wet wipe packs, reducing plastic use compared to traditional pre-formed bags. The system allows use of mono-material film for both tape and handle, making the entire pack recyclable. These technologies are highly customisable to match your production needs, while supporting a broad array of nonwoven product types.
