IMA E-COMMERCE launches E-CO FLEX LIDDING at Interpack 2026

IMA E-COMMERCE, an innovator for automated packaging solutions tailored for the E-Fulfillment and Intralogistics sectors, will unveil the new E-CO FLEX LIDDING at Interpack 2026, taking place in Düsseldorf from May 7 to 13. The machine will be showcased at the IMA stand in Hall 17, introducing the latest development in the E-CO FLEX portfolio for automated E-Commerce packaging.
E-CO FLEX LIDDING combines height reduction and lid application in a single system, enabling fulfilment operations to optimize parcel volume directly at the closing stage. By minimizing void space, the solution supports reduced material usage and improved logistics efficiency.
The system features a multi-footprint architecture capable of managing up to 10 different box and lid formats in full random mode. It automatically detects the product height inside each case and reduces the box accordingly, with a height reduction of up to 400 mm, without the need for pre-scored packaging.
Designed for the variability of E-Commerce environments, the machine processes FEFCO 200(HSC) cases, trays, and auto-lock bottom cases, and can automatically bypass Ships-In-Own-Container (SIOC) cases. Its compact footprint and modular design allow easy integration into existing fulfilment lines and warehouse management systems.
E-CO FLEX LIDDING also supports compliance with evolving regulatory requirements such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), contributing to the reduction of empty space and overall dimensions of shipped parcels.
With this launch, IMA E-COMMERCE further expands its portfolio of scalable, future-proof solutions designed to enhance efficiency and flexibility in modern e-fulfilment operations.
