IMA UK, a strategic player in pharmaceutical packaging with origins in tea bag technology.
IMA UK was one of the first Branches to be established outside of Italy, initially set up to sell and support Tea Bag equipment. However, as the Group expanded into the pharmaceutical market with its range of Blister packaging machines, the Branch also started to expand. Originally based in Wokingham, after the acquisition of Swiftpack Automation Ltd by IMA in 2004, the Branch transferred its commercial activities in 2006 to the Swiftpack manufacturing facility in Alcester Warwickshire.
