Jar for Pharma

In pharmaceutical packaging, jars are used for products such as creams, ointments, gels, semi-solid formulations, powders, granulates, and solid doses. Jar for Food

In Food packaging, jars are widely used for sauces, dressings, condiments, spreads and other liquid or semi-liquid preparations. Jars can also be used for counted and dosed products, including confectionery such as candies, chewing gums, chocolate dragées, coated sweets, liquorice and nougat. Different jar shapes and sizes can accommodate both loose and wrapped products, including cylindrical, square and irregular formats. 
IMA technologies support both the filling of liquid and semi-liquid products and the counting, dosing and filling of solid products, allowing jar packaging to be adapted to different food, confectionery and supplement applications.

In Personal Care, jars are particularly associated with creams, face and body treatments, masks, balms and other viscous cosmetic formulations, where the packaging plays both a functional and an aesthetic role. A wide range of jar shapes, sizes, materials, finishes and closures allows brands to create packaging aligned with different product concepts and market positioning. 
IMA technologies can handle a broad variety of jaar formats, including plastic jars, glass jars, and aluminum jars, and cosmetic textures, including viscous formulations that require controlled filling to preserve product appearance and consistency. Different closure solutions, including screw and pressure closures, as well as alu foil pre-closure, can be selected according to the product and user experience required.
