The three-side seal pouch, produced on a horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) machine, is a packaging format that enables full-panel graphics, as it does not require a longitudinal fin seal across the pack.

This pouch style can be equipped with a wide variety of reclosable zipper options and is especially well-suited for flat, wide products such as flatbreads, tortillas, sliced meats, and cheese portions. It can also be enhanced with practical or visually distinctive features, including hang holes and wide tabs for easy opening and dispensing. On IMA machines, this format can also be handled using recyclable materials, including paper-based films and mono-material plastics, supporting your environmental goals without compromising performance.
