From TMC expertise in wrapping technologies, UNIVERSA is the automatic wrapping machine for bathroom tissue and household towel rolls that combines maximum flexibility and versatility with high production performance and ease of use.
Combined to the converters of tissue products, UNIVERSA can wrap single, double and triple-layer packs at high speed (up to 200 packs per minute), with rolls placed both horizontally and vertically. It can also pack individual bathroom tissue or household towel rolls, in the BRT (Bathroom Tissue) configuration up to 50–60 rolls per pack, and the HHT (Household Towel) configuration up to 20 rolls per pack.
An innovative tutoring system is installed in the control panel and guides the operator step by step, supporting their efficiency. The control panel also guides changeover operations for easy machine management.
UNIVERSA can store recipes for fast, accurate and repetitive settings; changeover operations require a reduced number of parts and adjustments, which do not require tools.

Conveyor system
Four-lane infeed conveyor to bring the rolls coming from the upstream line to the doser section.

Doser belts
The four doser belts, positioned on the product infeed group, count the exact number of rolls to create the desired pack configuration.

Performance
High-quality, self-lubricating chains with self-tensioning system to ensure high efficiency and significant reduction of machine downtime for maintenance.

Twin bar
A twin bar can be used in the stratifier to ensure a smooth passage of the product from the stratifier to the double bar section.

Dragging unit
Overhead dragging unit with four chains for the sequential movement of packs from the elevator area to the sealing area.
