The SENSITIVE AP400 is a complete series of automatic linear labellers designed to apply self-adhesive labels to cartons at high speeds. The series includes a variety of models, each one with a specific feature determining its key characteristic.
The following machines which make up the current range are available as stand-alone units or integrated in complete packaging lines:

The SENSITIVE AP400 series is a distinctly versatile range of models whose configuration can be tailored to individual customer requirements. Certain models can fit up to three labelling heads: two side heads for tamper-evident seals and one top head for vignette labels. Printing and verification of tracking codes, such as a 2D Data Matrix or barcode, can be accomplished and represents an essential response to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry’s demand for Track & Trace capabilities. Integration of inkjet or laser printers, as well as several software and camera vision systems are possible to suit the needs of the customer.

Flexibility is a hallmark of the Sensitive AP400 Series; in fact, their configuration is tailored to customer requirements. Depending on the model, they can fit up to three labelling heads: two side heads for the application of tamper-evident seals, and one top head for vignette labels. Additionally they respond to the increasing requirements of the pharmaceutical industry in Tracking & Tracing the packed products, and can print and check tracking codes such as 2D Data Matrix or Bar Code on different parts of the carton.
Integrated with a 100% check weighing system, the Sensitive AP400 CW is conceived to apply labels on three of the carton’s sides while complying with the latest Track & Trace and serialisation statutory requirements. It features one more major advantage: determining the weight of every single carton throughout the production process while occupying a small footprint.

A highly precise product positive transport system is the key to achieve severe production quality control, accurate product coding and verification processes. The Sensitive AP400 CW’s innovative infeed carton transport belt transfers each carton on a dedicated loading cell, determining the weight of every unit while ensuring a high production flow of up to 400 ppm. Repeatable synchronisation between the new infeed belt and the positive carton transport system ensures labelling accuracy and contributes to making the machine failsafe.
Three rejection systems are fitted to the machine to discard the cartons not respecting the weight parameters, which will remain unlabelled and not serialised, and those cartons with printing/labelling non-conformities.
Versatile by design, the SENSITIVE AP400 3T labelling machine for cartons can be supplied in many different configurations according to customer requirements. These include versions with one labelling head for vignette application, two for tamper-evident sealing or three for both vignette and tamper-evident implementation.
SENSITIVE AP400 3T plays a key role in all instances where product protection from damage and tampering is mandatory, ensuring accurate and precise carton label application while reaching high production speeds. A user-friendly solution, it is easy to operate and quick on maintenance.
Ergonomic and even more compact than other of the SENSITIVE series carton labelling machines, the SENSITIVE AP400 C addresses the increasing demand for space efficiency in the production area. With a length of 1,400 mm, the SENSITIVE AP400 C fits up to three labelling heads for the application of a wide range of self-adhesive labels on carton tops or bottoms and tamper-evident seals on carton flaps.
The machine can be installed as a stand-alone unit or in a complete packaging line. It can also be implemented to upgrade existing secondary packaging lines.

Flexible and ergonomic, it handles a wide range of carton sizes, and is fitted with two labelling working on carton sides.
The label dispenser, application group and carton transport speed are synchronized by a stepping motor. The precise position of the cartons ensures extremely accurate label application.
