LUMS is the Lubrication Unit for Magnesium Stearate built by IMA and designed to handle a variety of lubricant powders. Flexible and accurate, it can be connected to all tablet presses, feeding a variety of lubricant powders directly over the die table by means of an atomizing system.
The position of the lubricant nozzle makes it possible to uniformly coat all surfaces of the tablet press tools that are in contact with the powder.

To support high-throughput tableting applications, LUMS can also be configured with two independent magnesium stearate dosing channels, enabling connection to tablet presses with double discharge outlets.
