Step into Cognitive Manufacturing
The IMA Ever‑Evolving System invites you into a new era of manufacturing.
High-speed overwrapping machines
The FTO Series is a high-performance range of overwrapping machines engineered to ensure premium pack appearance, smooth product handling and reliable, continuous operation across multiple product formats.
Engineered for efficiency and premium results, all models feature advanced functions such as inline tear tape application, double reel holders and automatic film splicing systems, ensuring uninterrupted production and consistently high-quality wrapping. Intelligent feeding and discharge systems maintain precise spacing throughout the line, preventing products from pressing against one another and guaranteeing smooth handling even at elevated speeds.
From the ultra-high-speed FTO511, reaching up to 500 ppm with continuous carton feeding for perfectly spaced flow, to the flexible FTO513, delivering up to 330 ppm and also available in a Fin Seal (FS) configuration for airtight, moisture resistant and tamper evident wrapping, and finally the versatile FTO518, ideal for display boxes and multipacks thanks to its continuous discharge design, the series covers every production requirement: speed, consistency, product protection and outstanding visual results.
Whether the goal is top speed food, confectionery or personal care products, the FTO Series ensures the perfect balance of technology, reliability and performance.

Ultra high-speed overwrapping machine, the FTO511 ensures maximum performance and incorporates a continuous carton feeding system to prevent products from pushing against each other, both at the start and at the end of the line.
The FTO511 handles up to 500 ppm and features a number of technically advanced solutions to ensure top quality appearance of the packages, enhancing the value of the confectionery items inside.
These include an inline tear-tape unit, a double reel holder and an automatic film splicing device.

High-speed overwrapping machines for single and multiple products. The FTO513 Series, which can handle up to 300 ppm, features a number of technically advanced solutions to ensure tamper-evidence top quality package appearance.
Despite its high-speed processing, the FTO513, which can handle up to 330 ppm, features a number of technically advanced solutions to ensure top quality appearance of the packages.
These include an inline tear-tape unit, a double reel holder and an automatic film splicing device.
Products will benefit from the high-quality overwrapping standards obtained on the FTO513 in terms of moisture protection and extended shelf life, especially on the model ensuring airtight sealing – the FTO513 Fin Seal – tamper evidence and enhanced external packaging appearance.

The FTO513 is also available in a dedicated Fin Seal configuration designed to deliver airtight sealing for products sensitive to humidity. This version ensures excellent moisture protection and contributes to extending overall shelf life, offering greater tamper evidence and enhanced product preservation.
Equipped with a special teartape system developed specifically for finsealed packages, the machine features a servodriven, motorized unit with dedicated cutting components. The teartape is applied according to the film’s print registration, guaranteeing a perfectly airtight seal while ensuring an easytoopen package for the end user.
At the heart of the process is the wrapping starwheel, where the back welding is executed between a sealer and its corresponding countersealer. This operation delivers optimal tightness and creates the characteristic “fin” on the rear side of the product. Folding and tacking of the back seal are completed through two dedicated sealing stations around the starwheel, ensuring consistent package quality.
For lateral folding and sealing, the first station performs the side sealing through a sealer and countersealer pair, achieving the same high sealing integrity as the back weld. A subsequent station completes the folding and tacking of the fins, ensuring both a secure seal and a clean, aesthetically pleasing package appearance.
