FTB577 FF Paper Tray Packaging
Machine overview
Top‑loading cartoner for fully paper‑based parenteral and medical device packaging.
Compact top-loading cartoner that features the widest variety of boxes and product arrangements. The FTB577 FF is designed to create practical, fully paper-based packaging to protect pharmaceutical products and medical devices such as vials, syringes, needles, cannulas, injectors and more.
The key feature of this solution is its ability to form both the carton container and the folded inserts starting from flat cardboard blanks.
Depending on customer needs, the insert can be configured in several ways, including a partitioned nest for vials or various customised inserts serving as a paper tray. The resulting package is suitable for housing one or more products, including parenteral products, medical devices, accessories, as well as booklets and leaflets.
The machine simultaneously forms the outer carton and the folded insert, assembles them, feeds the products and accessories, performs coding, and closes the package—ensuring a fully automated and efficient process. All the common carton closure styles can be handled on the FTB FF Series, including flip-top, tuck-in and glued flaps.
The modular design allows for maximum customisation. The products are handled by robotic units, enabling the processing of many different product types and packaging solutions.
According to the required machine speed, the FTB FF Series can be equipped with a single or multiple flat-blank carton magazine and forming heads, reaching output speeds of up to 200 cartons per minute.
The dedicated forming heads and the transport system use positive carton control, ensuring squareness throughout the entire process.
