Automated vial loading & unloading systems for industrial freeze dryers reduce the risk of contamination from humans, and cut operative costs while enhancing efficiency. The mechanism used to move vial packs into and out of the freeze-dryer is based on a stand-alone, battery driven transfer module. Communication with the machine is fully wireless.

Easy integration in aseptic environments, and suitable for open/closed RABS or for isolator containment.
Fully independent, self-driven and stand-alone transfer unit for vial pack movements in and out of the freeze dryer.
All devices of the loading system are installed within the perimeter of the loader base plate. No protruding elements such as front or back pusher.
Wireless communication with the vial transfer unit.
Position verification based on laser principle.
Suitable for loading and unloading time up to 8 hours, without battery recharge. Easy and simple battery changeover.
Suitable for “ambient” and “cold” shelf-loading.
Minimum need for integration track between exit filler and infeed loader, as well as between exit loader and capper infeed.
The extremely neat design of the Da Vinci loader is based on the complete absence of actuating pushing mechanism installed in front or back of the freeze dryer giving birth to an extremely compact footprint.
