AD Series Cartoning

Machine overview

Efficient cartoning machines for bouillon cubes

The AD Series is a wrap-around solution for the packaging of bouillon cubes fed from an upstream dosing machine. By taking flat blanks, the machine forms cartons with tucked-in end flaps and glued longitudinal seams.

The AD Series packs soup cubes into cardboard boxes that can be of different sizes ranging from those with a capacity of 2 to 48 cubes

State-of-the-art motion control, thanks to fully electronic mechanisms, ensures excellent packaging results and the machine overall footprint is conveniently small, thus enabling also an easy access for operators needing to handle machine components.

The AD8 offers up to 400 boxes per minute and is optimized for FD8 dosing machine, combining flexibility with fast changeovers.
The AD8/V increases the speed to 600 boxes per minute for FD12 model, maintaining the same ease of use while enhancing performance.
The new AD10, designed for the FD10, operates at up to 550 boxes per minute and delivers a compact, efficient solution with flexible carton management and integrated functionalities that enhance productivity and simplify line layout.

Machine versions

AD8

The AD8, capable of handling up to 400 boxes per minute, is the ideal cartoning solution for the FD8. It is designed to deliver high flexibility and ease of operation within compact packaging lines. Its full servomotor architecture enables fast and simple size changeovers while covering the complete production range of the FD8 (800 ppm), from 2 up to 48 cube boxes. Color‑coded format parts and easy access to frequently serviced components simplify maintenance and maximize machine uptime.

AD8/V

The AD8/V, with an increased capacity of up to 600 boxes per minute, is specifically designed to pair with the FD12. It maintains the same user‑friendly and flexible design philosophy while supporting the full production range of the FD12 (1200 ppm). Its full servomotor architecture ensures quick and reliable format changeovers across all box configurations. The optional TPM‑oriented design—featuring illuminated viewing panels, transparent interlocked guards, and improved accessibility—further enhances operator safety, visibility, and overall usability.

AD10

The new AD10 is the perfect cartoning machine for the new FD10, creating together a compact and highly efficient integrated solution for high-performance packaging lines. Designed with a wrap-around cartoning concept and on-board electrical cabinet, the system minimizes footprint while maximizing productivity and layout efficiency. Its flexible format management supports both single-layer and multilayer cartons, with quick and easy format changeover to ensure maximum operational versatility. The on-board rejection unit and the single-lane outfeed eliminates the need for box merging systems and reduces marking complexity—resulting in a smarter, simpler, and more reliable packaging solution. The machine can also be equipped of automatic flat-blank loading system.
