IMA Life provides a complete set of services designed to assist customers in several areas and improve their overall performance. Highly skilled professionals, cutting-edge laboratories and full support before, during and after installation.

IsoTech Laboratory

Located in Bologna (Italy), at the IMA Life facility, the Isolator Research & Development Laboratory, IsoTech Lab., is made up of the microbiological laboratory and isolator pilot room where the IMA Life sterility assurance team works alongside our engineers to conduct customer-required tests, improve the isolation
systems and determine even shorter and more appropriate VPHP decontamination cycle applied to our equipment.  All tests are performed using sophisticated and highly sensitive instruments, also in collaboration with Italian universities and with the major industrial measurement companies.

Lab4Life Laboratory

Located in Tonawanda, NY, at the IMA Life North America facility, the Lab4Life Lyophiliser Process Development Laboratory, features a certified clean room, analytical support laboratory, formulation and filling capabilities, and full-size freeze-drying equipment to support pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical
development. A specialized team supports pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development by combining expertise in process development, computational modelling, scale-up, equipment characterization, and technology transfer. Their work focuses on aligning product requirements with process capabilities and equipment design to ensure robust and efficient manufacturing solutions

Service Portfolio

The full service offering encompasses a multitude of specially developed packages to boost production efficiency, anticipate maintenance requirements or implement rapid corrective measures. A vast selection of training modules for key operational aspects also covers process yield and quality control as well as giving technological insight into the machinery. To complete the services provided, IMA Life also supports customers, equipment upgrades, total overhaul and line relocation.
