Preparation of a coating solution paves the way for the coating stage of a tablet manufacturing process
Wheeled tanks made of stainless steel – AISI 316L for parts in contact with product and AISI 304 for parts not in contact with product – appropriately mirror-finished internally and externally, feature mixing with a choice of propeller and graded, graduated baffles, designed and positioned to ensure smooth solutions without any air bubbles. Special requirements will be analysed by IMA experts to determine bespoke equipment. All tanks are built in compliance with EU specifications.

Flexibility and easy handling
Easily movable in confined spaces, the tanks allow for quick assembly and removal. Various tank types can be interchanged on the same support, offering high operational flexibility. Stirring is performed without incorporating air, thanks to the optimised mixing system.
Removable graduated baffles further enhance cleaning and adaptability. -

Cleanliness and compliance
All materials in contact with the product are suitable for pharmaceutical use, with internal surface roughness below 0.30 micron. Particular attention is paid to external areas where dirt may accumulate, such as welds and shaped elements, ensuring excellent inspection and sanitation.
The tanks are equipped with poppet valves at the bottom to prevent sedimentation and are designed for perfect jacket-heating temperature control, avoiding precipitation or crystallisation of sugar solutions.
