    IMA also feature cross-belt feeding systems and product alignment technologies to manage products arriving randomly, along with robotic pick-and-place or loading robots that can feed directly into the wrapper infeed or pre-group products onto conveyors for seamless flow wrapping.     These systems are tailored for the handling of a broad spectrum of personal care products like bottles, caps, jars, and dispensers, ensuring smooth and delicate transitions across the production line, whether at the beginning, middle, or end.  Robotic units are capable of precise product loading and unloading from transport trays and into production equipment, optimizing efficiency while maintaining product integrity. For applications where trays serve as part of the final packaging, these systems pick items from pucks and place them directly into display trays. This supports premium packaging formats often used in personal care, ensuring consistency in both presentation and performance.

    Pharmaceutical

    Our robotic manipulation systems are engineered to manage a wide range of sensitive pharmaceutical items, including medical devices, pens, BFS containers, vials, ampoules, and syringes. Integrated at different stages of a packaging line, our feeding systems and technologies ensure orderly manipulation of products in bulk format, taking them from trays and feeding them into the line, placing them on trays to remove them from the line or creating a buffer during line stoppages. Robotics enable precise loading and unloading from transport trays, as well as insertion or removal of products with no risk of contamination or damage. In configurations where the tray is an integral part of the packaging, robotized units carefully transfer products, such as tubes or bottles, from pucks into display trays, ensuring secure positioning and alignment.
