Fillshape, a division of IMA S.p.A., started in 2015 with the intent of manufacturing and designing innovative filling systems for dairy, food and beverage and personal care applications.
Pouch filling, pouch making and a new concept of form, fill, seal technologies for cups and jars are the technological platforms developed. Fillshape stands for pouch filling machines for flexible stand-up pouches – with and without spout – and doy packs.

OpenLab
OpenLab is the IMA Group’s network of technological laboratories and testing area, dedicated to the research on sustainable materials, technologies and production optimization processes. OpenLab analyzes most of the new sustainable and innovative materials as new compostable, biodegradable, paper-based or ultra-thin film, before they are commercially available in order to run them on vertical and horizontal packaging lines.
