IMA offers flexible storage solutions for both green and roasted coffee, tailored to different capacities, shapes, and space availability. Green coffee can be stored in square, polygonal, or circular silos—indoors or outdoors—equipped with rotary distributors and weighing devices for efficient processing. Roasted coffee silos are designed to protect bean integrity during handling, featuring shock-absorbing systems to prevent damage and blockages, with capacities ranging from hundreds of kilograms to several tons. The range also includes advanced degassing systems, from natural nitrogen injection to accelerated vacuum-based processes.
Ground coffee storaging & degassing
IMA Petroncini has developed a range of ground coffee storaging and degassing systems available in various configurations to suit different production needs. Degassing can be performed either under natural conditions with aroma protection ensured by nitrogen injection, or through an accelerated process using vacuum technology combined with nitrogen.
