The ongoing emergence of multi-drug resistant bacteria is a global issue, and the development of new antibiotics, especially those with new modes of action, is imperative to help treat new infections. This is the scenario for which our high-speed powder dosing and stoppering solution XTREMA PWD has been designed.
Today large pharmaceutical companies and biotech firms are again engaging in antibiotic development to ward off the threat of a so-called “post-antibiotic” era. To address this critical situation, we have developed a new generation of filling machines capable of dosing 2 different broad spectrum powders in the same vial with separate 100% check-weighing (SPLIT-FILL).
