W-Pack Stacking and Wrapping
Machine overview
The Wonderwrap
The IMA TMC W-PACK is a high-speed stacker-wrapper designed for feminine care and light incontinence products. Unlike conventional baggers, it uses the product itself as the mold for wrapping, eliminating the need for pre-formed plastic bags and allowing significant savings on packaging material.
Operating at up to 200 cycles per minute, it doubles the standard output while enabling the use of thinner and more sustainable materials, including paper-based wrapping with minimal adhesive. Thanks to its modular design, W-PACK can handle a wide variety of formats, from single to triple rows, while maintaining flexibility and efficiency.

Versatility and modularity
The W-PACK’s modular design offers unmatched flexibility, handling a wide range of product sizes from light incontinence products to feminine hygiene items like panty liners. Capable of processing single, double, and triple row packages up to 290mm in width, it’s the perfect solution for diverse market demands— including the growing need for larger packages in the American market.
Efficiency meets economy
Single-use poly bags are not only resource-heavy, but also expensive.
Our machine enables significant material savings by reducing the thickness of packaging material from 35-40 microns down to 25-30 microns. This change alone results in a cost-saving opportunity, making it a more cost-effective solution.

Sustainable paper packs
W-PACK enables paper wrapping—an increasingly popular, eco-friendly choice in today’s market. While traditional paper bags can be 4 to 5 times more expensive than polyethilene alternatives, our system significantly reduces costs through innovative wrapping techniques. We use hot-melt adhesives—optionally plant-based—to keep the solution sustainable. With adhesive usage kept below 1.8% of the paper’s total mass, W-PACK helps minimize environmental impact and promotes a greener footprint.
