Vegatronic 6400 HD Vertical Form Fill and Seal
Machine overview
Next-generation hygiene. Unmatched performance
The Vegatronic 6400 HD is the ultra-sanitary evolution of IMA Ilapak’s proven Vegatronic 6000. Tailored for the demanding needs of the meat, cheese, and IQF sectors, this continuous motion vertical form fill and seal machine combines robust stainless steel construction, IP66-rated components, and an open frame design for full wash-down capability.
Its hygienic architecture minimizes contamination risk with sloped and rounded surfaces, stainless steel parts throughout, and a completely accessible frame that facilitates fast and thorough cleaning. Changeovers are streamlined thanks to a vacuum-assisted splicing table, swivel-mounted forming tube, and pneumatically activated cantilever reel shaft — all of which maximize uptime and operator efficiency.
Capable of producing medium to large pillow packs with or without MAP, and handling films up to 830 mm wide, the Vegatronic 6400 HD supports a wide range of materials — from laminates to HDPE, LDPE, biodegradable, and compostable films. It’s the optimal solution for producers looking to meet the highest hygiene standards without sacrificing performance or versatility.
