Safety in containment.
Twinvalve is a reliable high-containment valve used in the processing of powders, granules, tablets and capsules in high containment. It combines IMA Active’s experience in powder handling and washing systems and underpins the need to wash valves for any system to obtain the maximum Occupational Exposure Band.
This patented system can be used as a standard butterfly valve on bins and can be easily retrofitted on existing powder handling plants allowing containment during powder transfer.

Simple design
Solution composed of two standard sanitary butterfly valves with an orbital rotating spray head.

Cleaning by compressed air and cleaning by water/solvent are both possible.

Patented innovation for flawless cleaning
The patented orbital spray head assembled inside the active Twinvalve is telescopic: it is extracted only during the cleaning phases, while during product transfer procedures it remains fixed in place.
