TLS Series Feeding & Manipulation
Machine overview
High-speed loading system.
TLS is a robotic system able to load/unload products, like blow-filled seal containers, inhalers, pens or auto-injectors, from/to trays. This machine has been devised to enhance production line performance with great flexibility of functions, product handling and layout.
The TLS handles devices such as strips, inhalers, pens or auto-injectors, manipulating them from or into trays. This solution perfectly responds to high demands in terms of productivity and throughput when the whole production process has to be operated automatically and in a highly dynamic way. Robotic technology is at the heart of the system and allows flexible product handling at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the line.
Multifunction system:
• PRODUCTION LINE INFEED: robotized tray unloading system placing containers into the line.
• PRODUCTION LINE OUTFEED: robotized tray loading system taking containers from the line.
• BUFFER FUNCTION: product buffering on trays during line stops.

Machine highlights
-
Tray handling requirements
Smooth tray handling (thermoformed or plastic injection), which can be nested, de-nested and oriented according to specific requirements.
-
Versatile product handling
Products of different shapes and sizes can be fed from or placed into pucks, worm-screws, bucket chain belts.
-
Custom grippers
Tailor-made grippers designed according to the objects they need to handle and carefully selected to avoid any damage to the device.
-
Bespoke tray magazines
Tray magazines can be designed according to customer’s requirements of high or medium capacity.
-
De-palletizer integration
This system can be supplied as a stand-alone machine or integrated with de-palletizing systems for greater autonomy.

Machine versions
TLS & RD Series (Robot Depalletizing modules) integrated versions
TLS can be integrated with RD Series (Robot Depalletizers) giving more production autonomy to the whole line.
– TLS: stand alone version
– TLS-RD2: 2 pallet stations
– TLS-RD6: 6 pallet stations
The increasing number of pallet stations allows for a larger production autonomy. Operator’s intervention is reduced to the minimum.
