Our Paper Tray Packaging Module benefits from decades of expertise and is 100% developed in-house, ensuring seamless integration of each stage—from tray feeding to product placement and final cartoning. Unlike a one-off customized machine, our standard cartoners are inherently designed to host an additional module—a true plug & play configuration. This allows paper tray solutions to be integrated or retrofitted with ease, enabling manufacturers to maximize the value of their existing IMA cartoning equipment while preparing for future packaging needs.

Paper tray loading
The paper tray feeding unit is designed to pick up the trays from the magazine and place them gently onto the conveyor belt. The group is extremely efficient and can reach high speeds. The area is completely accessible and requires minimum effort for cleaning and size hangeover operations.

IMA’s robotised solutions are able to feed the widest range of products and accessories demanded by the market, including different products into the same paper tray thanks to multiple feeding units. The robotised unit is completely accessible for the operator and the number of changeover operations is reduced to a minimum.
