Maximum flexibility
The MD20 PLUS produces non-heatsealable, double-chamber, knotted naked bags for tea and herbs at speeds of up to 200 bags/min. To protect the naked bag, the MD20 PLUS produces crimped outer envelopes and in order to further preserve the flavour of the tea or herbs, it also processes totally airtight, waterproof, heatsealed outer envelopes.
Greater variety is provided by the possibility of fitting different cartoning attachments starting from flat blanks or pre-erected cartons. Optional carton closing units handle tear-off, flip-top and other cartons styles.
Production is constantly monitored by dedicated supervision software and a video camera which checks knotting and teabag conformity.
