LUMS is the Lubrication Unit for Magnesium Stearate built by IMA and designed to handle a variety of lubricant powders. Flexible and accurate, it can be connected to all tablet presses, feeding a variety of lubricant powders directly over the die table by means of an atomizing system.
The position of the lubricant nozzle makes it possible to uniformly coat all surfaces of the tablet press tools that are in contact with the powder.

Precise lubrication, adaptable to every need
Accurate dosing of lubricant powders through auger speed adjustment, conveyed by compressed air to the spraying nozzle. Excess lubricant is removed by suction shroud, while augers of different sizes adapt to specific flow-rate requirements.
