The new W-PACK line.

IMA introduces the new W-PACK, a revolutionary solution that redefines packaging for fem care products. 
Instead of traditional low-density polyethylene (poly) bags, the W-PACK uses a wrapping technique that leverages the product itself as a template. This shift not only changes the packaging process but also improves speed and sustainability, thanks to the paper-based wrapping technology. 

Cost savings are a key advantage. By reducing material thickness from 35-40 microns to 25-30 microns, we significantly lower costs.

The machine also supports paper wrapping, offering a sustainable alternative to poly bags.

  1. W-Pack

    Wrapping

    The W-PACK reaches up to 200 cycles, doubling efficiency. It handles various product types, from light incontinence to feminine hygiene items, and can accommodate single, double, and triple row packages. Its modular design also allows it to adapt to market needs, including larger packaging sizes.

  2. D-Bund

    Bundling

    The packing line can be integrated with D-BUND: a completely automatic bundler that includes all features to transfer, collate and overwrap diaper bags in neat, tight, completely sealed bundles. 

  3. EOL Hub

    End-of-Line

    End of line solutions include the possibility to integrate the line with case packers and palletizers sourced by IMA.
