IMA Sustainability

We are
Sustainability Enablers

Shaping lasting progress for us all, and for the planet we share.

Sustainability is a collective journey
rooted in our values, embedded in our technologies, and shaped together with all who move forward with us.

Our Priorities
for Sustainable Progress

Our sustainability work is guided by four strategic priorities, shaped by the issues most relevant to our business and to the expectations of the world around us. These priorities reflect how we aim to create long-term value: supporting our customers in their own sustainability goals, ensuring that our production ecosystem respects both people and the environment, and contributing as a private actor to the global effort for a more sustainable future.

Climate & Resources

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and advancing decarbonisation across the value chain, through climate-conscious action, circular innovation and the responsible use of resources.

People & Empowerment

We strive to foster safe, inclusive and equitable environments for our collaborators and the communities we serve, supporting wellbeing, development and shared value creation in a spirit of continuous improvement.

Innovation & Product Responsibility

We promote sustainable innovation by designing high-performing technologies that combine efficiency, safety and environmental responsibility, enabling our customers to reach their sustainability goals.

Ethics, Governance & Transparency

We uphold a culture of integrity and accountability, embedding these values across our operations and supply chain, through responsible risk management, transparent practices and long-term stakeholder engagement.

Our Standards,
Frameworks & Ratings

We ground our sustainability journey in globally recognised standards, transparent frameworks and trusted ratings and complement them with strong governance and compliance tools, because accountability drives improvement.

Our Initiatives
to Drive DEEP Impact

Our sustainability priorities take shape through a series of structured initiatives across four key areas. Framed within our DEEP approach, these efforts guide how we design technologies, run operations, empower people and engage our value chain turning commitment into measurable progress.

Our Commitment to the Future

We build the future in the choices we make today.

And we know that real commitment means taking a long view,
and moving with intent.

In 2025, we will finalise our carbon reduction roadmap and submit near-term targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
This marks a decisive step: aligning our business with climate science and measurable ambition. But this is only part of the path. Over time, we will extend this approach across other priorities, defining clear goals, communicating them openly, and keeping ourselves accountable as we grow.
